HIGH DENSITY POLYETHYLENE PIPE

(HDPE) /(PE 100)

MS 1058: PART 2: 2023 (ISO 4427: PART 2: 2019)

PE 100 is the upgraded version of PE 80. Technological advancements made it possible for PE 100 pipes to withstand a higher operating pressure with the same wall thickness as a PE 80 pipe, or alternatively, withstand the same operating pressure with thinner walls. PE 100 HDPE pipes are also less sensitive to surface damage during laying and have improved resistance to rapid crack growth. This means that if a fast crack begins to grow in a PE 100 pipe, it will stop after only a short distance. HDPE PE 100 pipes also use less polymer and provides for a larger bore and increased flow capacity.

Features:

  • More durable and able to withstand higher pressures
  • Low maintenance due to its chemical and abrasion resistance nature
  • Flexible, lightweight and easy to transport and install
  • Cost effective with high weathering resistance
  • Joined by simple, secure and reliable fusion jointing
  • Long lasting and termite proof
